Have you ever felt less than whole or maybe undone? If you answer this question with yes, I have good news for you.
King James Version (KJV)
25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,
26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.
29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?
31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.
33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.
34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
Notice in v.28 this woman was feeling just like you “less than whole” there was an issue in her life that was keeping her from living life to its fullest. God never intended us to live this life “totally devastated” his plan for us is to live life to the fullest, John 10:10 “God has come to give life, and life more abundantly.”
Before we can fix something we must identify the problem and the source. Mark 11:23 explains this truth; Jesus told his disciples to “say unto the mountain.” there was a recognition of the mountain or the problem, however, we cannot stay in a place of “un wholeness” we must use our faith to change the circumstance.
Lets take a look at the result of this woman’s faith, v.34 Jesus says to her “thy faith has made thee whole; go in peace and be whole.” Believing in Gods word (faith) there is power to fix the broken things in your life and make you/them whole again.
My earthly father would always say to me ” when you at the bottom of the barrel you in a pretty good place ” I would reply “why? thats stupid.” Then he would say “There is only one direction from there… up.” Words of Wisdom, thanks (Richard R. Summerlin III ).
No matter what you are going through or if you feel broken God has a way out for you.
